I started my career as a manual QA engineer. After six months, I transitioned into Automation
testing through
self-directed learning. In early 2024, I started taking a Python Website Development course at the
University of Science and completed it in June.
I was awarded a completion certificate with a 9.0 overall score for my capstone project.
This academic pursuit enhanced my programming, Python, SQL database management, query writing,
logical, and analytical skills.
Upon completing the Python foundation module, I developed an interest in automation frameworks,
specifically Robot
Framework and Karate Framework(the team's main framework). Given Karate Framework's Java foundation, I
enrolled in the 'Karate DSL: API Automation
and Performance course on Udemy to enhance my skills. I subsequently initiated personal API testing
projects.
Concurrently, I was afforded the opportunity to apply my automation knowledge to a work project, where
I was responsible
for developing test scripts for the internal food menu mangement for a restaurant. Due to the
simultaneous pursuit of
learning and project work, I obtained the course completion certificate in July.
I have consistently refined my test coverage through the application of various techniques. For simpler requirements, I employ Equivalent Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis for numerical ranges, and Decision Tables for more complex scenarios.
I focus on initial analyzing requirements, user stories and test objectives, breaking them down into testable components, and designing efficient test cases. My ability to translate these test cases into robust automation scripts.
I prioritize continuous learning through diligent research. I am adept at identifying and accessing pertinent documentation.
